The Philadelphia Independent Towers And Salvors Association is an organization that is set up to ensure the consumer only the best from the towing industry and its members.  These towing company's and members that are affiliated with this association are legitimate, hard working, and honest business, who meet a criteria of excellence.

                                                                  MEMBERS CODE OF ETHICS

           The Philadelphia Independent Towers & Salvors Association meet certain qualifications which a are code of ethics in conducting business.  You must hold all of the proper licenses which are required for your business by the City or your county.  No members will be eligible if they have any  L & I violations for inappropriate business transactions.  The association has the right to revoke any company's membership if they have been involved in any violations that would discredit our members and the association. .  As a member you will have access to lawyers  who have experience with towing, salvage, and business, (at  reasonable rate).  The Companies that are presently members of PITSA are companies who work directly under contract with the Philadelphia Police and the Commonwealth in removing Stolen and Abandoned vehicles.  These companies are also authorized by the state and city to process the proper documentation that is need to dispose of these abandoned and stolen vehicles.  Our goal is to work along with the city to remove the blight of abandoned and disarrayed vehicles from the streets.
